Dr. Amanda Nayfield
(she/her)
DPT, WCS
Dr. Amanda Nayfield is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Board-Certified Pelvic Health Specialist, and founder of Connect NW Physical Therapy & Wellness. She discovered her passion for pelvic health in PT school and has specialized in it ever since.
Amanda takes a holistic approach, combining manual therapy, movement training, and lifestyle guidance to help clients address pelvic health and orthopedic concerns. She focuses on identifying underlying factors and creating personalized plans that support long-term wellness.
Originally from Colorado and having spent 9 years in Montana, Amanda loves outdoor adventures with her husband and two kids—running, hiking, rock climbing, and biking. She’s dedicated to helping people navigate life’s changes and empowering them to move well, feel confident, and live fully.
Amy Lush
(she/her)
DPT
Dr. Amy Lush earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2012 and has since gained extensive experience across the West Coast. While she’s worked with a variety of diagnoses, Amy developed a deep passion for pelvic health, particularly sexual health, over the years. She has completed coursework in sexual health counseling and is currently pursuing further mentorship to expand her expertise in this area.
Amy is committed to providing trauma-informed, affirming care, helping clients overcome feelings of shame or embarrassment, and empowering them to reconnect with their bodies and sexual well-being.
In her approach, Amy believes in a collaborative, client-centered process where individuals work together with her to achieve their goals. She strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment, ensuring clients feel safe to share their stories and explore their full potential
Outside of work, Amy enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, weight lifting, yoga, and dancing. She embraces a mindset of abundance and is passionate about building supportive, growth-focused communities.
Annie Molsberry

Dr. Annie Molsberry received her undergraduate degree in Dance from Wesleyan University and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington. Before becoming a physical therapist she spent many years in the dance field as a performer, teacher, and choreographer, and also worked as an EMT and backcountry guide and educator. She has published and presented research in the field of healthcare equity and cultural competency curricula in healthcare degree programs.
Annie enjoys integrating her background in movement, education, and health to facilitate an empowered approach to physicality in the lives of her clients. She works with people to address a variety of orthopedic and musculoskeletal issues, postpartum or post-injury return to sport and exercise, and integrates pelvic health considerations from daily function to high level athletic performance. She also has a passion for supporting people in perimenopause/menopause and has completed a her menopause coaching certification. She strives to create a therapeutic experience where each person can feel safe, seen, and supported as they gain the confidence and capacity to reach their goals.
Annie grew up on an island in Maine, and was drawn to the Pacific Northwest by the mountains and the sea. She loves endurance sports of all kinds, and swims in Bellingham Bay year-round. When not at Connect NW Physical Therapy, she can be found having adventures with her dreamboat husband and beloved daughter involving any combination of running, biking, skiing, climbing, kayaking, packrafting, swimming, cloud-gazing, and of course the occasional dance move.
Sarah Maissy

Dr. Sarah Maissy is a physical therapist who is deeply committed to helping people move with more ease, strength, and confidence. She brings a curious, investigative mindset to her work—digging into the root causes of symptoms—and takes a full-body, holistic approach that honors each person’s unique experience and goals. Sarah earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound and holds a Pelvic Health Certification through Evidence in Motion. She specializes in treating people of all genders with pelvic health needs, creating a supportive and affirming space rooted in trauma-informed and sex-positive care.
Her treatment approach is informed by extensive training through the Postural Restoration Institute, which emphasizes the critical role of the nervous system in how we breathe and move. She also draws on her background as a strength and conditioning coach, helping clients not only resolve pain or symptoms but return to the activities they love with renewed power and resilience. Sarah is currently completing her dry needling certification and looks forward to offering this additional tool to support her patients soon.
Sarah values strong therapeutic relationships and believes that healing starts with listening. She looks forward to hearing your story and walking alongside you as you work toward your goals.
Outside of the clinic, Sarah enjoys strength training, bouldering, backpacking, camping, and experimenting in the kitchen.
Emily VanDeinse

Emily is a student doctor of physical therapy who will officially join our team as a licensed physical therapist in January 2026. Her passion for pelvic health physical therapy has been clear from the start—she began her journey at Connect NW Physical Therapy several years ago as a patient care coordinator, already knowing this was the specialty she intended to pursue.
Since then, Emily has been fully immersed in building the skills and knowledge to serve her future patients with excellence. She is currently earning her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado School of Medicine and has already completed advanced pelvic health coursework through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She is currently finishing an 18-week intensive clinical rotation at Connect NW, where she continues to expand her hands-on experience working with people of all genders across both orthopedic and pelvic health concerns.
Emily brings warmth, curiosity, and dedication to her work, and she is especially passionate about supporting individuals through the often-overlooked challenges of pelvic floor dysfunction. She is thrilled to return to Connect NW in a new capacity and continue serving the community that first inspired her path.
Outside the clinic, Emily can be found backpacking, rock climbing, biking, and soaking up time with friends in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Patty Christensen

PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Patty is the heart of our front office and a dedicated patient care coordinator who takes deep pride in helping every client feel welcomed, supported, and empowered—from the very first phone call to the final visit. She listens carefully to your story and works thoughtfully to connect you with the therapist best suited to your individual needs and goals.
With her warm presence and genuine positivity, Patty brings a sense of calm and care to the clinic environment, making sure every interaction feels personal and compassionate.
Originally from the Methow Valley, Patty feels most at home in the mountains. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find her exploring trails around Mazama and enjoying the beauty of the surrounding wilderness.
Kylie Walford

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Kylie is our wonderful administrative assistant and an essential part of our team, helping the clinic run smoothly and supporting its continued growth. She first joined Connect NW as a patient care coordinator and quickly became known for her calm presence, thoughtful communication, and genuine warmth.
Now in her administrative role, Kylie supports every member of our team behind the scenes—keeping systems organized, problem-solving with ease, and helping create a positive, efficient environment for both staff and patients. If you've met Kylie, you know her steady, kind energy brings a sense of calm and care that makes everyone feel at ease.
We're incredibly grateful to have her at the heart of our clinic.
Sonja Hinz

PTA, MA, TPS - PRN Provider
Sonja provides occasional PRN (as-needed) coverage at Connect NW PT, where she previously worked as a full-time clinician. She brings a rich blend of clinical knowledge, movement expertise, and compassionate care to her work, and we’re grateful to have her as part of our extended team.
Sonja developed her passion for pelvic health during her early years as a student and new mom. She has pursued advanced education through the Herman & Wallace Institute and has been deeply mentored by the talented PTs she’s worked with over the years. With a background in dance performance, instruction, and academia, Sonja brings a keen eye for movement and a holistic view of the people she works with — how they move, learn, and connect with their bodies and the world.
Sonja is also trained through the Institute of Physical Art, which emphasizes hands-on techniques to help clients move with greater fluency and less effort. She holds a Therapeutic Pain Specialist (TPS) certification, reflecting her deep interest in the neuroscience of pain, healing, and neuroplasticity. She believes in the human capacity to heal, grow, and rediscover joy — especially in the experience of being fully alive in one’s body.
As a certified nutrition coach, Sonja also brings a supportive and informed perspective on the role of food and nourishment in wellness and healing.
When not in the clinic, you’ll find Sonja gardening, preserving food, baking healthy treats, or exploring the outdoors with her family. Though she’s lived and traveled widely, she always finds her way back to the beauty of Whatcom County. Sonja holds a BA in Anthropology from WWU, an MA in Dance from UHM, and an AS in Physical Therapy from WCC.
